We have found our customers prefer the whole steer to be around 900-1000 lbs.

WHOLE BEEF

  • WHOLE BEEF cost  $ 5.00 per pound of hang weight

  • price includes processor fee paid by farm

  • estimated freezer weight - 375-400 lbs

  • Steers average 550-600 hang weight (600 lbs x $5.00 = $3000.00)

  • Average $7.50 per lb of meat

  • ONCE STEER IS TAKEN TO PROCESSOR AND THE CERTIFIED WEIGHT IS RECEIVED YOU WILL BE INVOICED FOR BALANCE DUE

  • HALF BEEF cost  $ 5.50 per pound of hang weight

  • price includes processor fee paid by farm

  • estimated freezer weight - 185-200 lbs

  • Half steers average 275-300 hang weight (300 lbs x $5.50 = $1650.00)

  • Average $8.25 per lb of meat

  • ONCE STEER IS TAKEN TO PROCESSOR AND THE CERTIFIED WEIGHT IS RECEIVED YOU WILL BE INVOICED FOR BALANCE DUE

  • price includes processor fee paid by farm

  • estimated freezer weight - 95 - 100  lbs

  • Steers average 140 -150 hang weight (150 lbs x $5.90 = $885.00)

  • Average $8.85 per lb of meat

          Required Deposit for Quarter Beef - $200

  •  quarter of a cow is actually a split half; meaning that each quarter will receive equal parts of the half side of a cow from the front and the back.

  • Average Quarter 95 - 100 lbs freezer beef.

YOUR ORDER WILL BE SIMILAR TO THE PACKAGE BELOW BUT MAY NOT BE EXACT.

  • 35-40 Packages 1-1.5lbs/package chopped, ground beef 85/15

  • 2-3 Chuck Roasts (3-4lbs each)

  • 2-3  Shoulder Roasts (3-4lbs each)

  • 1/4 Brisket (2 lbs)

  • 2-3  Filets (1" thick)

  • 3-4 Bone In New York Strips (1 "thick)

  • 2-4  Sirloin Steaks (1' thick)

  • 3-4 Rib eye Steaks  (1 "thick)

  • 1-2 Packages of Soup Bones

  • 2-4 Packages of stew meat
